Cut the plum cardstock in half across the width. Fold to make a card 5.5? x 4.25?. Cut the cream card stock in quarters and trim one quarter to fit on top of the plum card, leaving a border of plum showing. Use the rope punch to decorate the left-hand side of the cream paper.
Create your background by stippling different coloured inks onto the cream card stock, starting with your lightest colour first and omitting the colour black from your background.
All of the embossing is done with clear ink. Stamp in black, the saying ?Our Lives are Filled? on the left-hand side of the cream cardstock beside the punched out edge. Then stamp and emboss the Thoughtful Lady stamp with plum ink on the right hand side of the card. (Check the Sample for the correct positioning of the stamps.)
Fold the ribbon into a bow and attach below the words. Punch out two hearts between the bow and the words. Attach a heart (or two) on top of the bow. Use glue or double sided tape to adhere the cream layer to the plum card.
Add a personal message on the inside of the card and you are finished. Enjoy your family time on Mother?s Day.
