This Glittery Card is fun to make. This hardest thing will be deciding whom to give it to. This design works well for Valentine?s Day, Birthdays or as a cheer-up card. Make a few extras, leave them blank inside, and fill in the words to suit the occasion.

List of Supplies:
C69 Thinking of You
H85 Triple Heart
Ultra fine Glitter in Red, Pink and Crystal
Glitter Glue
Cream Ribbon
Pop Dots
Embossing Ink and Gold Embossing powder
Cream Card stock. 8.5? x 11? cut in half across the width
INSTRUCTIONS:
Stamp the H85 Triple Heart stamp three times on the front of the card using the formation demonstrated in the picture, and emboss in gold.
Stamp and emboss once more on matching card stock. The only hearts filled with glitter on the card, are the top two. The third heart is used as a placement guide for the placement of the raised heart.
Starting with the middle heart only, of each image, spread glue evenly to the embossed edge and sprinkle on glitter, tap off excess. Fill in each consecutive section of the heart with a different colour of glitter, allowing drying between applications.
Cut out the single heart and apply to the front of the card with pop dots.
Stamp and emboss in gold the C69 Thinking of You stamp in the bottom corner.
When I was making this card I also made the Glitter Heart Booklet. I used the same stamp and stamped and embossed and glittered three different images, cut each out and layered with pop dots. If you are going to use glitter, make as many projects as you can at one time. Have fun with many colour variations of this card for Birthdays, Graduations and Thinking of You. |
