White & Black cardstock
Le Plume markers in dark pink and green, or watercolours
Chalks in pink, blue & green
Pop Dots; double sided tape, makeup sponge, and paintbrush

INSTRUCTIONS:

Finished card size is 5 ? x 7.

Stamp and emboss the Rose stamp around the perimeter of the folded cardstock and on the inside, in the right hand corner. Stamp and emboss once more on a separate piece of cardstock.

Sponge the roses on the main card using pink and green chalk and the background in pale blue. Colour and shade in the single rose with the markers or paints. I used the colour from the markers, rubbed out onto a plastic lid and diluted slightly with water. I then picked up the colour with a small paintbrush. I find this method an easy way to control shading and depth of colour.

When the image has dried, trim and rub the edges with a gold stamp pad. Trim the black cardstock so that ? inch of black shows around the image. Layer using double sided tape. Attach to the main card using pop dots.
